Custom software
for the
weird ones.

Websites, marketing systems, and AI automations for small businesses in the Willamette Valley. Built by hand in Dayton. No SaaS ransom notes. No agency handoff. Just software that works and stays yours.

What we build

The stack in three sizes.

Every small-shop build we take on starts as one of these. Sometimes they overlap. Always, they're yours at the end — you own the code, the data, and the infrastructure.

01 · Websites

A site that earns its keep.

Fast, hand-built, no page-builder junk. Booking, quoting, reviews, blog, whatever the shop needs. Hosted for the price of a coffee per month.

02 · Marketing systems

Follow-up on rails.

Email sequences, quote nudges, review requests, seasonal campaigns. Set once, runs forever. Owned by you, not a SaaS.

03 · AI automations

The quiet assistant.

Inbox triage, invoicing, scheduling, back-office paperwork. AI that answers to your shop, not a vendor's dashboard.

Yamhill Computers Studio · Dayton, OR

I've spent the last decade building software and support systems for small businesses across the Pacific Northwest. Not as a thought leader writing about it. As a builder deploying it into real shops that need to keep the lights on.

These days I run the studio out of a small workshop in Dayton — house calls for grandma's laptop by morning, custom software for the winery down the road by afternoon. Same person, same rules: plain English, no vendor lock-in, and no upselling anything you don't need.

  • Built Dispatch, a managed AI email triage service
  • Self-hosts n8n, Suture, and custom agents on DigitalOcean
  • Published AI ethics research (IT Chronicles, Muddyum)
  • 12+ years operating businesses across tech and services
